It’s been lovingly updated and is fully equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable Finger Lakes getaway. Huckleberry House is just minutes from Seneca Lake Wine Trail and 5 miles to Watkins Glen. Enjoy the fenced in backyard with your four-legged friends, or lounge by a campfire under the stars!!
We welcome ONE or TWO well-behaved dogs with prior approval and pet fee(s). Please keep pets off furniture and crate if left unattended. Pets must be leashed outside, and all refuse properly disposed of. Pet’s may be left off leash in the fenced in area, but please do inspect the fence prior to ensure the safety of your pet.
Guests have private access to the entire house, patios, fenced in backyard. Guests have shared access to the meadow ( 40 acres), mowed paths, and the National Forests. ( you can walk from the house to one of the National Forest’s Hiking Trails)
Guests have free parking next to the house with their own section of driveway.

We are located just outside the quaint town of Burdett, NY. We are 5 miles from Watkins Glen, and just two miles off route 414, the Seneca Lake Wine Trail.
The Huckleberry House is the ideal spot to call home after exploring the beautiful Finger Lakes! Perfect for a family or group of friends, this house sleeps 6 with two full baths, newly updated kitchen, spacious living room, and large dining room. The covered front and back patios will have you relaxing, and recharging surrounded by natures’ beauty. We’ve invested in the top-of-the-line amenities, linens and even a Purple Mattress so you’ll feel like you are sleeping in a luxury hotel nestled in the woods of the Finger Lakes National Forest.
There is a large fenced in backyard, so you can bring your four-legged friend as well!
There is so much to enjoy in the area from wineries, breweries, artisanal restaurants, boating, swimming, horseback riding, and hiking; you’ll be ready to cozy up by the campfire for a romantic evening, relax in the Adirondack chairs under a stunning star-lit sky, or meander through our meadows.
1. NO SMOKING: Absolutely no smoking inside or under the covered porch. Cigarette butts may be disposed of in the campfire ring or garbage.

3. Property Bounds: Please be respectful of our property and neighbors. You may enjoy the meadow and forest, but please respect the privacy of the Cabin. There is a mowed path that loops from the meadow through the woods and back for guests’ enjoyment.
4. Food/Beverages: Items are permitted in the kitchen and dining area ONLY.
5. Campfires: Campfire rings are provided for your enjoyment, please use responsibly. We have provided wood and fire starters for your convenience.
6. Grill: Please clean the grill and utensils after each use and ensure the grill is turned off when done.
7. Check-out: Check out time is 11:00 am, unless late check out has been requested and approved. Please wash all kitchen glassware, pans, plates, utensils etc and put away. Please leave the house as neat and clean as possible at check out.
8. Garbage/Recycling: Please bag all garbage/recycling and place in red Dumpster
9. Removal, alteration, or relocation of any furniture inside or outside is not permitted.
10. Pet Stays: Pets are allowed with prior consent and pet fee. Please keep pets OFF furniture and crate if left unattended. Pets must be leashed outside, and all refuse properly disposed of. Pet’s may be left off leash in the fenced in area, but please do inspect the fence prior to ensure the safety of your pet.
11. Linens: Towels and linens are not changed daily, please re-use your towels for the duration of your stay. Towels may be left on the bathroom floor at check out.
12. Fire Extinguisher/First Aid: The fire extinguisher and first aid kit are under the sink.
13. Emergency: In case of emergency please dial 911. The local hospital is:

14. Heating: Thermostat for the fireplace is located on the wall in the living room. For AC, please turn on the window units only in the bedrooms.
